Our then curate Bill Boon who was also a dear friend of Louisa's suggested that she should look into the Lay Readership telling her "it was just up my street"!! Louisa did look into Lay Readership and was accepted for training. After three years Louisa was licensed at Gloucester Cathedral on 23rd September 1995 to St. Katherine’s Matson, After two years Louisa had her license transferred to St. Georges Brockworth were she worked with Father Martin Ennis until he left and now work with our present Priest Fr David Gill.
Louisa has been greatly blessed in her Lay Readership and is at the moment exploring her vocation to the ordained ministry. Louisa is currently a Ordinate in training her training started at the beginning of September which will last for three years.
