St George’s Church Brockworth

All are welcome at any of these acts of worship
Parish Eucharist. back to top
The main act of worship each Sunday is the Parish Eucharist at which most people, young and old gather
Together. The word Eucharist means ‘Thanksgiving’ and at this service we celebrate and give thanks for all that God has done for us and given to us through Jesus Christ, by hearing words of scripture and sharing bread and wine in communion. The service is always the modern Holy Communion from Common Worship. On the first Sunday of each month this service is aimed more at the children and young people in church, being more informal and with a sermon presented with them in mind. Children and young families are always welcome to the Parish Eucharist.
After the service Tea, coffee and biscuits are served at the back of the church.
